EX-40-KVM-5K is an HDBT 3.0 extender kit that delivers uncompressed video up to 5K@30Hz and 5120×1440@60Hz, with full support for 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 and all HDR formats. It supports USB 2.0 pass-through with 1x USB-B on TX and 4 x USB-A on RX, making it ideal for KVM applications. Audio features include HDMI audio format support, analog audio pass-through from TX to RX, and de-embedding on both ends. An HDMI loop-out is provided on the TX for local preview. RS-232 port functions are configurable via DIP switch for control signal pass-through and firmware updates.

ULTRA-HIGH RESOLUTION 5K SUPPORT – Supporting ultra-high resolution up to 5K@30Hz (5120×2160) and 5120×1440@60Hz, with full compatibility for 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 8-bit and all HDR formats including HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+.
KVM FUNCTION SUPPORT – The extender offers full-speed USB 2.0 pass-through with up to 350Mbps data rate, featuring one USB Type-B on the transmitter and four USB Type-A ports on the receiver, making it ideal for KVM applications involving keyboard, mouse, touchscreen, or webcam integration.
AUDIO FEATURES – For audio, EX-40-KVM-5K supports full HDMI 2.0 audio formats including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, while also providing analog audio de-embedding on both TX and RX, as well as one-way analog audio pass-through from TX to RX.
CONTROL FEATURES (DIP SWITCH) – For system control and firmware management, the device integrates an RS-232 port with DIP switch configuration, allowing RS-232 pass-through, MCU firmware updates, and HDBT firmware upgrades with ease.
